Berko Pharmaceuticals, which works and produces for public health, touches children's health with its wide paediatric product portfolio, while at the same time establishing playgrounds for child patients in paediatric wards of hospitals in different cities of Turkey with the awareness that happiness will contribute to the recovery of children. With the cooperation of the hospital chief physician and the physicians in charge of the clinic, playgrounds are installed in appropriate places in the paediatric wards.

With the slogan "Children heal with play", Berko Pharmaceuticals established a total of 8 playgrounds in 2022, including 2 in Istanbul, 2 in Eskişehir, 1 in Manisa, 1 in Aydın, 1 in Ordu and 1 in Adana. Berko Pharmaceuticals field employees acted with social responsibility awareness and personally took part in the playground installations. Berko Pharmaceuticals, which cares about the healthy upbringing of children, who are the guarantee of a healthy future, aims to continue to establish new playgrounds in different cities and institutions in the future.

About the project, Berko Pharmaceuticals Marketing Manager Savaş Duman said: "While touching children's health with our products, we set out with the idea of establishing playgrounds for our child patients in the paediatric wards of hospitals in different cities of Turkey with the awareness that happiness will contribute to their recovery. With the playground project we have implemented, we aimed to create a tiny smile on the faces of children who are being treated in the paediatric ward. We know that the happiness of children means the happiness of families. With this project, we wanted to make children who are inpatients in the paediatric ward feel the warmth of their homes and to ensure that positive memories remain after the treatment process, to reduce children's hospital anxiety, and to contribute to good communication with health stakeholders. It is very valuable for us to support their recovery by touching their souls in these areas where children can take a small break and to support their families and healthcare professionals."
