Berko Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Facility was awarded the Golden Mortar for its Phase III investment. Berko Pharmaceutcals, a strong brand in the pharmaceutical industry that continues to produce and work for human health with the vision of "For Healthy Tomorrows" for more than thirty years, was awarded the "Manufacturing Facility Investment Award" with its Phase III investment, which was recently inaugurated.
As part of the "Golden Mortar Awards 2018" organised for the ninth time this year, Berko Pharmaceuticals received the "Manufacturing Facility Investment Award" for its Phase III investment. Representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, representatives of non-governmental organisations, independent pharmacists and pharmacy students attended the ceremony organised by Pharmacist Magazine.
Berko Pharmaceuticals Board Member and Corporate Communications Director Eylem Beran received the award on behalf of Berko Pharmaceuticals at the ceremony. Speaking while receiving the award, Eylem Beran said, "We would like to thank the esteemed jury members and Novi Medya family for deeming us worthy of this award. I wish our new investment to be auspicious for our country."
The new investment aims to increase employment and exports.
With the commissioning of the third phase of the manufacturing facility, Berko Pharmaceuticals has reached a closed area of 21 thousand square metres and an annual production capacity of 142 million boxes. Berko Pharmaceuticals, a strong player in the Turkish pharmaceutical market, exports to 16 countries, primarily to the USA and Canada, with the vision of becoming a global brand. Berko Pharmaceuticals, which produces and works for health with more than 700 employees, aims to increase its production, employment and exports with the new phase put into service.
